Becoming a member of the Beaver County Bar Association can enhance your professional development and grant access to the many benefits offered to BCBA members.

Membership Information

With nearly 200 members, the Beaver County Bar Association provides a variety of valuable resources to assist in the practice of law. Member only social events, CLE seminars, and participation in community events will help you to grow in your career through educational and networking opportunities with your fellow Bar Association colleagues.

To become a member, applicants must meet the following criteria:

An Active Member shall be a person who is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and (a) resides in Beaver County; or (b) has a law office in Beaver County where he/she spends more than one-half (1/2) of his/her work time; or (c) who is employed in Beaver County and spends more than one-half (1/2) of his/her work time in Beaver County; or (d) who is a Law Clerk for a Judge of the Court of Common Pleas of Beaver County or who is an employee of the County of Beaver; or (e) is a Judge of the Court of Common Pleas of Beaver County.

CLE Seminar Discounts
Members of the BCBA will enjoy a discounted rate for CLE seminars.

Committees
The BCBA has over 30 committees for members to become involved in such as the Young Lawyers Division, CLE Committee and Charitable Fundraising and Giving Committee.

Lawyer Referral Service
As a member of the BCBA you can chose to enroll in our Lawyer Referral Service in which potential clients will be referred to you for a consultation.

Member Only Monthly E-Newsletters and Weekly E-Briefs
BCBA Members receive an informative monthly e-newsletter each month detailing any announcements, committee news, events and activities, upcoming CLE’s, as well as a member to member marketplace for information on careers or available business space. Weekly e-briefs are sent out on Mondays as a quick reference with information on any upcoming events in the next two weeks.

Monthly Membership Meetings
Membership meetings are held monthly for our members to stay informed on Bar events.

Networking Opportunities
As a member of the BCBA you will be invited to member only meetings, social events and activities presenting opportunities to make connections with colleagues, fellow attorneys and other members of the Association.

Pennsylvania Bar Association Membership
As an active member of the BCBA you will also be a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association. Your membership fees will be paid through your BCBA membership.

Use of BCBA Building
Members of our association can use our small or large conference room at no cost to schedule depositions or to meet with clients. Reservations must be scheduled with our office and be between the hours of 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
