How does the Lawyer Referral Service work?
By clicking “Start” above you will begin the simple and quick online referral process. Simply enter some basic information, and you will be provided with the name and phone number of a local attorney that specializes in the type of law that you select. YOU will then call that attorney to schedule your consultation.

If you are not sure what type of lawyer you need please refer to this guide.
Who are the attorneys?
The attorneys who are participating in the Lawyer Referral Service are licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania, members of the Beaver County Bar Association, and are in good standing with the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Beaver County Bar Association.
Is there a fee for this service?

Is there a fee for the attorney?
There is a $25.00 fee that you pay the attorney at the time of your initial visit (unless otherwise noted next to the field you choose in the referral categories.) This $25.00 entitles you to a thirty (30) minute consultation with the attorney. If the attorney feels that he/she can help, you may retain the attorney. The fee for further legal work is to be established between you and the attorney. The Beaver County Bar Association and/or Lawyer Referral Service is not involved in what the attorneys charge for their services or how they accept payment. Please direct these questions to the attorney when you call to schedule your consultation.
What if I cannot afford an attorney?
If you cannot afford an attorney, you should contact Neighborhood Legal Services, who may possibly provide you with a reduced fee attorney. Neighborhood Legal Services does not handle all issues and the caller needs to qualify for their services. Neighborhood Legal Services can be reached by calling 724-378-0595 or on their website at www.nlsa.us.
What if I just have a question?
Please do not contact the Beaver County Bar Association with any legal questions or for legal advice. We are unable to provide answers to these types of questions. Once you have received a referral through our online service, you can then contact that attorney for advice and/or with any legal questions.
What if I have a fee dispute?
If you would like to dispute a fee from an attorney that is a Beaver County Bar Association member, please submit your complaint in writing to the attention of the Fee Dispute Committee at 788 Turnpike Street, Beaver, PA 15009.

You can obtain answers to general questions and their contact information online or by calling their offices.
